Conservation Commission Approves Brookside Septic Order
Conservation Commission · Meeting of September 21, 2026
Foxborough Conservation Commission clears septic and pool projects, flags a leaking town dam. The board unanimously voted to close a public hearing and issue an order of conditions, DEP #157679, for a failed septic system replacement at 10 Brookside Drive, presented by engineer David Kleiner of Collins Civil Engineering Group. It also closed a continued hearing on a 14 Goodwin Drive subdivision pool, issuing an order under DEP #157678 with an added condition requiring finalized retaining-wall plans and a written pool-maintenance statement, after Bay Colony Group's Cameron Gray explained that "the seasonal winterization will consist of lowering the pool water below the skimmer level." The board also cleared a bylaw-violation restoration at 16 Garrett-Splaine Road and issued partial certificates of compliance for 11 and 25 Windsor Drive, DEP #157137.
Members separately learned a 2023 inspection found the town dam needs repair and may still be leaking.
