Foxborough School Committee approves 9/11 field tribute, hears summer prep report. The committee voted 4-0 to let the Foxborough Touchdown Club paint 9/11 and America 250 logos on the football field for the season opener, with the club covering paint costs and a volunteer donating labor. Superintendent Dr.

Berndos said the district hired 21 new teachers and five new educational assistants over the summer, roughly 33 to 35 new staff overall. Technology presenter Aaron Heyer said grade seven laptops will now stay in school buildings rather than go home, while grade eight students get new devices they'll keep through grade 12. Facilities presenter Tony Maselli detailed a new soundproof classroom wall at the high school, refinished gym floors at all four schools and a replacement gym curtain expected by late September.

"Without either one of you, we couldn't have opened the schools," one member told the pair.
