Foxborough School Committee Ratifies Three-Year Teachers Contract 5-0

FOXBOROUGH — December 23, 2025 — Foxborough School Committee unanimously ratifies a three-year contract with the Foxborough Education Association just before the winter break. The School Committee voted 5-0 on December 23 to approve the FY26-FY28 agreement, which covers all district teachers and takes effect retroactively to September 1, 2025. Superintendent Dr. Bertos outlined the key terms: salary increases of 2.5 percent in year one, 2.75 percent in years two and three, with a cumulative 3 percent adjustment for top-step teachers. The contract significantly expands parental leave, allowing up to 12 weeks of accumulated sick time use and adding district matching weeks that grow from one to three over the contract's life. Longevity stipends increase by $100, and coaching, extracurricular, and mentor stipends rise 2 percent under Appendix A. The committee chair noted the FEA had already ratified the agreement on its side, and said negotiations with the educational assistants union remain ongoing.
