Board OKs J7 Adventureland's Liquor, Food Licenses

Select Board · Meeting of September 8, 2026

Foxborough Select Board hears residents' pleas over cut stadium foot access, then clears a new Patriot Place venue. Police Chief Grace told the board that a 2025 MBTA and Keolis rail safety audit led to fencing that pushed pedestrian traffic to Revolution Way, a private Kraft Group roadway never authorized for foot travel under the stadium's 1999-2000 special permit. Resident Eric Feibel said he canceled his daughter's birthday party over crowd limits; Donna Sahelsky said a new spiked fence "makes us feel like criminals." No vote was taken on access.

The board separately approved malt and wine, common victualer and entertainment licenses for J7 Adventureland's planned 14,500-square-foot venue at Patriot Place, and a municipal conversion permit letting the Sage School clear a condemned building at 175 Mechanic Street.
