Foxborough Planning Board hears years of frustration over an unfinished subdivision near Gillette Stadium, then approves two unrelated projects. Residents of the Conway Lane and Goodwin Drive development, including Bill Stiles, Aaron Shapira and Brian Kirby, told the board 35 to 40 cars parked on their street during a recent World Cup match, with a concert the following week raising the same safety concerns. Project engineer Bill Buckley said the developer aims to finish curbing and paving this season so the road can go to fall town meeting for acceptance, with a December 1, 2027 completion deadline looming.
A board member acknowledged the board's "power here is pretty minor" since bond leverage is its main tool. Separately, the board unanimously approved a site plan for a 2,520-square-foot storage building at 151 Moore Street and a special permit converting the former Raycraft Press building at 10 Wall Street into a restaurant with three three-bedroom apartments for applicant Sam Labib.
