Foxborough Conservation Commission Continues Unpermitted Driveway Case to May 18

FOXBOROUGH — April 6, 2026 — Foxborough Conservation Commission postpones 56 Spring Street driveway hearing after applicant fails to appear. The commission opened a public hearing Monday under the Wetlands Protection Act on a notice of intent filed by Marlos Silva Sereno for an expanded driveway with retaining walls and a 20-by-39-foot paver patio at 56 Spring Street — nearly all of which lies within the 100-foot wetland buffer zone, including portions of the house itself. A notice of violation had halted all work on the property since mid-October 2025, and the DEP file number for the application only appeared hours before the meeting. With no representative present, the commission voted unanimously to continue the hearing to May 18. In other business, the commission unanimously approved a partial certificate of compliance for 9 Gover Lane, DEP number 157-115, clearing the way for a pending property sale, and voted unanimously to nominate Kathleen Pryor to a vacant commission seat, forwarding the recommendation to the Select Board for formal appointment.
