FOXBOROUGH — March 9, 2026 — Foxborough Conservation Commission approves five wetlands decisions, including solar carport project, at March 9 meeting. The commission voted unanimously to issue an order of conditions for a 999-kilowatt AC photovoltaic electric generating and battery storage facility proposed by Next Grid, Inc., at the Foxborough Sports Center at 10 East Belcher Road, with senior wetland scientist Dean Gustafson of All Points Technology Corporation telling the board the project would place all solar panels over existing paved surfaces with no new impervious area created. The commission also issued a second order of conditions for a 32-unit contractor-bay complex at 138 Washington Street after Cameron Grey of the County Group confirmed the project had cleared Planning Board review and all consultant comments had been resolved. Negative determinations — findings that no formal wetlands permit is required — were issued for a deck replacement at 58 Beach Street, a pool replacement at 6 Beaumont Pond Drive, and Keolis Commuter Services' five-year vegetation management plan for the MBTA railroad right-of-way.
