Foxborough Select Board Approves Fat Tuesday Manager, Flags Cannabis Delivery Policy Question

FOXBOROUGH — April 28, 2026 — Foxborough Select Board approves liquor license changes and flags cannabis delivery policy question at April 28 meeting. The board, meeting without its chair, unanimously approved a change of ownership for LLH, LLC doing business as Trader Joe's at 350 Patriots Place and a change of manager for Fat Tuesday at 266 Patriots Place, replacing departing manager of record Vincent George Schofield with Derek Tomlinson — an action complicated by an extended managerial gap that attorney Tom Miller of McDermott, Quilty, Miller and Hanley acknowledged was not properly communicated to the town. Town Manager Paige informed the board that a new state law now permits marijuana home delivery in all Massachusetts municipalities, including Foxborough, which bars retail cannabis establishments, and the board directed her to place a Cannabis Control Commission waiver request on a future agenda for a full five-member discussion.
