Select Board 2026-07-21 Part 2 · Meeting of July 21, 2026

Foxborough Select Board agrees to biweekly stadium lease talks as Kraft lawsuit proceeds. The board committed to twice-monthly negotiating sessions starting in August toward amending the Gillette Stadium lease, which has 42 years remaining, ahead of a target spring town meeting vote. Officials disclosed the town has filed a counterclaim in the Kraft organization's lawsuit over roughly $950,000 in public safety costs tied to a $100 entertainment license fee, as stadium events have grown from about 10 games a year to 74.

In other votes, the board unanimously declared two Fox Lane dogs, Mandy and Malone, a nuisance and ordered a fence and leash restrictions; approved new liquor licenses for a Mechanic Street Thai restaurant and an alteration for Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse; approved, 4-1, a regulatory agreement for the 36-unit Rowan Greens affordable housing project at 119 Moore Street; and authorized up to $10 million in bonds for the town's PFAS drinking water treatment plant.
