Jason Chase presented Massachusetts General Court resolutions crediting police Chief Michael Grace, fire Chief Michael Kelleher and Town Manager Paige Duncan for safely hosting seven 2026 FIFA World Cup matches drawing 447,238 fans. Finance Director Maria Almodova outlined nine capital requests totaling $2,256,963, led by $1 million to replace the aging high school turf field. The board also reviewed a $500,000 transfer of $3.19 million in PFAS settlement funds to the water budget and a $150,000 precautionary legal-budget increase tied to litigation with Kraft Sports and Entertainment.

A deputy police chief pushed a warrant article banning cryptocurrency ATMs, warning that once money "goes into a crypto ATM, it's gone forever." The board also finalized the police department's retroactive removal from civil service and approved updated liquor and entertainment license fees.
