Foxborough Planning Board unanimously approves 32-unit industrial condo complex on Washington Street

FOXBOROUGH — February 12, 2026 — Foxborough Planning Board approves 32-unit industrial condo facility on Washington Street. The board voted unanimously, 4-0, Thursday night to grant a special permit to Bay Colony Group for a nine-building industrial condominium complex at 138 Washington Street, Map 51, Parcel 014, after the applicant resolved all comments from the town's peer review consultant. Conditions include a row of arborvitae plantings along the driveway abutting the neighbor at 140 Washington Street and a signed notice of illicit discharge form at the start of construction. Town Planner Catherine also updated the board on four zoning articles being prepared for Annual Town Meeting — covering design review district enforcement, bylaw housekeeping, master plan adoption, and the Neponset Avenue overlay district — and warned that a Small Business Sign and Facade Program grant is at risk because a fully executed state contract has not arrived despite two follow-up messages through the portal: "I'm starting to get a little nervous." Two community engagement sessions on the Neponset Avenue overlay are scheduled for February 24.
